Know before you go — Fitness threshold: BMI ≤ 30, no severe cardio-pulmonary conditions, able to walk ≥ 3 km continuously. First-week reality: about 68% of Western trainees report muscle soreness in week one (Asian trainees average 3.2 days of adjustment) — schedule lighter sightseeing for week one.
